Focus on a character or theme and relate it to how we see the influence of The Iliad in today’s news, politics, film, television, advertising, sports, fashion, comic books, or other areas not listed. Question by merdoc81: Ever notice that the world of advertising, tv, movies, news seems to think everyone has a white collar job?
Does anyone really appreciate people who bust their ass doing hard physical labor?
obviously unemployment is a great issue facing the US today, but it sickens me when I read the paper or see a story in the nightly news of some person with a high paying career job that has been drawing unemployment and cant find another job. the news makes it sound so bad for them, the only reason they dont have a job is because they think they are too good to get a job as a gas station attendant or work at walmart. I mean a job is better than no job and in this economy you have to take what you can get thats available.

yeah I Noticed that too. I think most people fall into the lower middle class. I mean a lot of people who have nice cars or a nice home can barely even pay for it and are in debt
