How do I relocate an article I saw earlier in the week on Yahoo News?

Question by Mama T: How do I relocate an article I saw earlier in the week on Yahoo News?
I saw an interesting article on Yahoo News concerning natural foods that are good fat burners, such as green tea, cinnamon and some others that I can’t remember. I would like to find it again but so far I’ve had no luck.

Why is yahoo allowing ads and news summary to obscure parts of email messages?

Question by Patt H: Why is yahoo allowing ads and news summary to obscure parts of email messages?
Lately a fashion ad is popping up on left side of email screen to obscure portions of email messages. Who is programing this? And I do not want the news summary on my email page. It appears before I can click on INBOX and usually freezes so that I have to Restart computer every time.

Those are rollover ads, activated when your mouse passes over them. If you look closely… there’s a “close” option… often hard to see, but it’s there. They “allow” it because advertising is what allows us to get many Yahoo services for free.

How do I get rid of that advertising ribbon across the bottom of Yahoo news articles?

Question by : How do I get rid of that advertising ribbon across the bottom of Yahoo news articles?

My Firefox pop-up blocker is enabled. Is there something called an “ad blocker” that might help? How do I enable that? (I don’t see an “ad blocker” in the tools options.)
OK, I just installed “ad block plus” to Firefox. The annoying advertising ribbon is now GONE! Thanks!!!

Answer by dekakashi
Not quite sure what you meant cause i don’t see it.
Probably because my Firefox ad blocker blocked it.

So there you go get an ad blocker or in some cases the ad comes in flash, then you will need a flash blocker

All of a sudden I have inappropriate advertising on Yahoo news page. How do I get them to switch that?

Question by busadm2002: All of a sudden I have inappropriate advertising on Yahoo news page. How do I get them to switch that?

Best answer:

Answer by Yahzmin (US)
Sorry, but you really can’t. It is their choice which ads to post on their own sites. You can avoid the page for a few days — usually they switch them out pretty frequently. You can even try pressing F5 (refresh) as they sometimes post different ads each time you do that.
